Compass Nominated for Consideration to Receive an Esri Award


Compass Informatics has been nominated for consideration to receive an award at the 2013 Esri Partner Conference (EPC) to be held 23-26 March in Palm Springs, California – where Partners will be recognized for developing and delivering quality Esri software-based solutions or services in nine categories:

  • Public Web Application
  • Private (Internal) Web Application
  • Mobile Application
  • Standalone Desktop Application (Runtime)
  • ArcGIS for Desktop Based Application
  • Location Analytics Application
  • Organizational Use of ArcGIS Online
  • Innovation Application
  • Best New Partner

Compass Informatics has been nominated in the “Public Web Application” category for its work with the Irish National Biodiversity Data Centre, which it operates under contract for the Irish Heritage Council, funded by the Irish government Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. The mapping system is an information rich, intuitive, free to access, on-line system built on the Compass Esri Mapping Framework which is at the heart of the Compass Biodiversity Information System.
